More About Us
A family.... in the true sense of the word.
Meet Judy, founder of Forever Memories and the force behind it. Judy started off in scrapbooking when she became a consultant for Creative Memories many years ago. With the closure of their South African branch in 2009, Judy and Jaap contacted Creative Memories and stepped out with the contract to continue distribution of the Creative Memories range of products throughout South Africa.

Many things have changed since then, and Forever Memories continues today. We have broadened our range of products to include various other top brands, and are bringing them to you through our online store.
​
Not only is Judy the founder and face behind the business, she’s also our creative inspiration and in-house designer – bringing you various interesting techniques and layouts. Her customers love her, and many a day you’ll find that they’ll pop in for a chat and a cup of coffee... just because they can.
​
Our second co-founder is Jaap, and behind the screens is where you’ll find him. With him he brings is auditing skills and legal advice – something we cannot do without. Let’s also not forget his writing skills, as he has decided to start writing since he became semi-retired and already has a few published novels behind him.
​
Judy and Maryke are the primary voices you hear behind the telephone conversations and email or WhatsApp exchanges you may have with us. We are committed to having a voice and not a system to assist you with your queries or any other information you might need.
Maryke is the detail oriented, organized contributor to our team. It’s a good thing we don’t have to physically change “hats” with each task, because Maryke would need a large variety to select from. In addition to maintaining, organizing and preparing new products for the website, Maryke also helps packing and shipping products during busy times. Her warm personality and willingness to jump into any task that needs to be done is something we are grateful for!

We have Judi (Jnr) who is our all-round helper and soon to be in-house designer. Her love for people and passion for art and drama brings a new direction to our creations.
​
Jackie is our teacher in training and fills in during school holidays. She’ll be joining us soon with customised vinyl design printing... a new part of Forever Memories that we’ll be incorporating this year.
​
Last, but certainly not least is the rest of our family. Savannah, Bailey, Monty and Magnum are delighted to greet our guests with tail wags and kisses. Cocoa our African Grey sits outside in the tree and will throw in some comments to your conversation, or just join you in laughter.
